Who is Sandeep

A Neighbour First. A Candidate Second.

Canada became my home in 2002. I arrived with ten years of experience as an electrical engineer in India, but like many newcomers, I had to start again. My first job was on a warehouse floor, where I learned firsthand the value of hard work, perseverance, and opportunity.

In 2004, I earned my Canadian trade licence and began working with Litens Automotive. That same year, my wife, Nisha, and I opened our business in Ward 4, building a small business from the ground up and becoming part of the community we are proud to serve.

Since 2005, I have proudly called Ward 4 home. This is where my wife and I raised our two children, where we built our business, and where three generations of our family now live together. Brampton is more than the city where I live, it is the community that has shaped our family's story.

My commitment to Brampton has always gone beyond my home and business. In 2017, during Brampton's City Hall meetings, I strongly advocated for bringing a full university to our city, recognizing the importance of giving Brampton's young people greater access to higher education close to home. I have also contributed to promoting our city as a Brampton Business Ambassador, and in 2022, I was honored to receive the City of Brampton's Inspirational Award in recognition of my community involvement.

But awards and titles are not the reason I am running for Regional Councillor.

I am running because Wards 3 and 4 deserve accessible, accountable, and responsive representation.

Residents deserve a Regional Councillor who listens, answers the phone, understands the pressures families and businesses face, and works hard to deliver practical results. Having lived, worked, raised a family, and built a business in this community for more than two decades, I understand both how far Brampton has come and the challenges we must address for its future.

I am not a career politician. I am your neighbour, a local business owner, a father, a husband, and a longtime member of this community.

I am asking for your trust and your vote so that, together, we can build stronger neighbourhoods, create better opportunities, and make Wards 3 and 4 an even better place to call home.
